Prema mišljenju psihologinje Barbare Fredrickson, doživljavanje pozitivnih emocija čini da ljudi vide više mogućnosti u svojim životima. Korištenje multimedije tokom nastave utiče na raspoloženje učenika i na sam procesa učenja. S pozitivnim stavom uče bolje i imaju tendenciju biti produktivniji.
4. Brz pristup velikoj količini informacija
S kompjuterima, tabletama, pametnim telefonima i Internetom, učenici su danas bolje opremljeni nego ikad za pretraživanjem i pronalaženjem informacija koje su im potrebne. Studija je pokazala da 95% učenika koji imaju pristup Internetu koriste ga za traženje online informacija. Dijeljenje informacija i učestvovanje u razrednim raspravama odvija se na zabavan i lahak način kada je pristup informacijama jednostavan kao i danas.
5. Svijet na dlanu
Ovdje nema iznenađenja. Uz pomoć Interneta i multimedije učenici mogu istraživati i učiti o svim mjestima na svijetu. U razredu geografije učenici mogu istraživati različite gradove svijeta, najviše planine i najopasnije džungle. U razredu biologije, disekcija rijetkih životinja i istraživanje različitih staništa su poput šetnje u parku za učenike koji koriste multimedijsko okruženje za učenje.
Sigurnost na Internetu
Korištenje Interneta u nastavi je zasigurno pozitivno, ali trebamo kao edukatori i roditelji upoznati djecu na siguran pristup informacijama. Djeci su potrebna pravila o korištenju Interneta, međutim, od samog postojanja pravila važniji je njihov sadržaj. “Istraživanja pokazuju da su od izravnog nadzora za dječju sigurnost online mnogo važniji otvoreni odnos s roditeljem, razgovor i pravila, posebice imajući na umu da djeca danas Internetu pristupaju i daleko od naših očiju.” navodi Tea Brezinšćak, mag. psihologije
